Custom Portrait Pricing & Ordering
As a fine artist, I take great pride in my work and I guarantee full satisfaction.
Portraits are painted in oil paints on canvas from high-quality photos provided by the client. Photos may be emailed. When possible, multiple photos should be offered. It is the responsibility of the client to obtain permission to use copyrighted photographs prior to beginning work on a portrait. I email proofs of the painting in progress throughout the entire process.
Please email or call me to discuss your commission and receive a final quote. When all specifications and charges are agreed upon, a Confirmation of Commission agreement will be sent and 1/3rd deposit is due.
Base Price - A single subject with a traditional colored background.

Additional sizes and ovals are available
Additional charges - extra subject matter such as a landscape background, multiple animals, people, vehicles, jumps or full harness will be added to the base price. All based on complexity.
Landscape background: base price plus 15-35%
Second subject: base price plus 35-50%
Multiple Subjects: priced by size
Framing: 15% of base price
ORDERING
The average completion time for a portrait is three to four months. Arrangements may be made to expedite completion, however a rush charge may be applied.
1/3 of the total cost is due to begin work. The second payment of 1/3 is due upon the approval, by the client, of a work in progress proof. The final payment, and any additional fees agreed upon, is due before delivery of the completed artwork.
